Hoosier Rec is unlike those other soccer programs in that Hoosier Rec uses professional coaching staff, as well as parent-coaches.
Hoosier Rec offers multiple “technical” training sessions during the season that are led by Hoosier FC's professional coaching staff. During these sessions, the professional coaching staff focuses on the technical fundamentals of soccer (ball handling, etc.) which are the backbone of soccer and a critical component of youth soccer training and development. Technical training sessions are held at Hoosier FC's Main Soccer Complex, 6910 E. 161st Street, Noblesville.
Hoosier Rec values parent-volunteers who serve as team coaches during weekly team training sessions and games. Weekly lesson plans are provided to parent-volunteers to guide them at practices and in games. During the registration process, each player will be asked to provide their preferred weekly training date(s) and time(s). The most common training times are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday starting at 5 or 6pm. Team practices are one hour long. Parent-volunteers have the ability to choose their team’s training times. Team training sessions are held at Habig Soccer Complex, 15600 Carey Road, Westfield.
