The History of Athletic Republic

Athletic Republic has a rich history that dates back to the late 1980s when it was founded by John Frappier. Frappier, a former collegiate athlete and strength and conditioning coach, recognized the need for specialized training programs designed to enhance athletic performance and help athletes reach their full potential.

The first Athletic Republic training center opened its doors in Fargo, North Dakota, in 1990. The franchise quickly gained popularity as athletes began to experience significant improvements in their speed, agility, strength, and overall performance through its training programs. The franchise has grown into a global leader in sports performance training, with numerous training centers operating across the United States and internationally.

Why Athletic Republic for Acceleration Training?

The concept behind Athletic Republic was to apply scientific principles and advanced training methodologies to sports performance training, offering athletes of all ages and skill levels access to state-of-the-art facilities and expert coaching. Frappier's vision was to create a network of training centers that could provide athletes with the tools and resources they needed to excel in their respective sports.

One of the key innovations introduced by Athletic Republic was the use of proprietary equipment and technology to enhance training effectiveness and provide personalized feedback to athletes. This included equipment such as the Super Treadmill, which allowed athletes to perform high-speed running drills in a controlled environment. Athletic Republic continues to uphold its commitment to innovation, scientific rigor, and personalized coaching, providing athletes with the tools and support they need to maximize their potential and achieve success on and off the field.
