Hoosier FC and Indy Premier SC collaborate to form Hoosier Premier Academy, an MLS NEXT Member Club
Noblesville, IN – In a move to elevate the youth soccer market in Indiana, Hoosier FC and Indy Premier are pleased to announce they have joined forces to form Hoosier Premier Academy, a new youth club that will compete in MLS NEXT and provide MLS NEXT prospects access to the highest level of competition in North America. In its inaugural season in 2024-25, Hoosier Premier Academy will field a total of six (6) teams in the U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, and U19 MLS NEXT age groups. Coaching staff and technical leadership announcements are expected to be made in May.
Hoosier Premier Academy was created and will operate through the collaborative efforts of Hoosier FC and Indy Premier, providing a full player pathway for Hoosier FC and Indy Premier players and continuing both clubs’ rich history of commitment to elite individual player development, in addition to modeling a positive and collaborative environment within the soccer community.
“Our priority is providing top-rate development and a positive soccer experience to the community’s youth as they strive to reach the highest levels, whether that be playing collegiately, professionally or otherwise, ” said Tom Keenan, Hoosier FC Executive Director of Coaching. “We are excited to be working with our neighbor, who shares that focus.”
Indy Premier Boys Director of Coaching, Joel Chalkley shared, “Competing against established MLS Academies and the top boys youth clubs and rising stars in the country will undoubtedly push our players to new heights and provide them an incredible experience.”
Hoosier Premier Academy will operate separately from Hoosier FC and Indy Premier, who will both continue their normal operations, as independent youth soccer clubs without change or interruption.
The pathway into Hoosier Premier Academy is open to all players who meet the high levels of performance required to play at the MLS NEXT level. Talent Identification Events will be posted on Instagram @hoosierpremieracademy.

Hoosier Premier Academy is a nonprofit youth soccer club, founded in 2024, as a collaborative effort between Indy Premier SC and Hoosier FC. Hoosier Premier Academy was conceived in an effort to provide a new option for the most elite soccer players in Indiana and marks a new chapter for youth soccer in Indiana, competing in MLS NEXT beginning in 2024-25. Indy Premier and Hoosier FC are both Youth Affiliates of FC Cincinnati and maintain separate soccer programs servicing area youth, ages 4-23.
