Team Managers play a vital role in the success of all Hoosier FC teams. To the left side of the page we have provided links to some of the useful documentation to help you with the role of team manager. We have also outlined below some of the jobs which will help the season run smoothly making the game more enjoyable for all. As you can see, there are a number of tasks that must be completed in order for the season to run smoothly. One of the most important tasks of a team manager is to help mold a team and keep everyone striving for the same goal. It will help to accomplish this if the team manager delegates some of the roles on the team. Many of the duties listed below can be accomplished in a very short time if the work is distributed among the team members. The manager assumes the role of the Team’s “Volunteer Coordinator” unless assumed by another volunteer from the team.
- Help register team and notify Hoosier FC Registrar of roster changes, including any e-mail address changes of team members.
- Distribute schedules and other pertinent information to your team as requested through the club or by the coach.
- Help ensure that all players on the team order the proper uniforms in a timely fashion. Work on this with the Clubs Uniform Coordinator.
- Organize additional playing or club opportunities such as tournaments, indoor, friendly scrimmages.
- Collect necessary fees. (inform parents as required through the club about club dues and fees)
- Find secondary practice fields and reschedule games if necessary.
- Manage ref fees and incident reports as needed.
- Reports scores to your teams respective league as needed.
- Help enforce Hoosier FC Parent and Player Code of Conduct.
